Missing your weekend shopping trip? Craving a chance to chat to independent makers and shakers? Looking to pick up some bargains to cheer you up? You are in the right place.
Well, it is safe to say we are living in strange times right now and it is certainly hard not being able to get out and meet all of you lovely people. Spring would usually signify the start of market season, but for obvious reasons the monthly events we would normally be attending have had to be put on hold. However, this doesn't mean we need to miss each other. Excitingly the online world means we can not only keep in touch, but we can also reach out to those who wouldn't ordinarily be able to attend events in our area.
The Bath Artisan Market, which is a monthly event we regularly show at in Bath, is now going virtual. We have teamed up with event organisers and other stall holders to bring you a virtual market that you will be able to attend in person. Along with social media posts and live interviews with the makers, over the coming weeks you will be invited into the homes and studios of some pioneering traders who will be holding live stalls for you to visit. They will be showing which products they have available to ship, talk through any questions you may have and generally have a good old chat. This is an exciting opportunity for all of us as there is now a global reach, you can visit the stalls from anywhere in the world!
This weekend there will be four days of Easter treats, we will be having lives via The Bath Artisan Facebook page and Instagram, holding the first of our Artisan Teas - an afternoon tea, cake and chat with different artisans about what makes them love what they do, and an Easter egg hunt of treats. Who's in?
